Drew Lorenzo kom med et godt innspill, som også kan/bør være utgangspunktet for målet med å bli minimalist:
Drew Lorenzo In my opinion we humans have 4 needs: mental, social, spiritual and physical. Neglect any one of those and you'll feel something lacking.
Mental stimulation: join a book club, take up chess, do some part time study, buy a puzzle book, download an app for mind games.
Social stimulation: join a book club, join Tinder, join a community choir, go to church, have a job, volunteer at a soup kitchen.
Spiritual stimulation: learn to meditate, join a meditation group, read a book about prayer, meet with others to worship, sit in a field by yourself, go for walks, allow your mind to wander.
Physical stimulation: go for a cycle ride, join a gym, climb a mountain, have a micro-adventure, ride a bike to work, do a park run, sign up to a 5k/10k/marathon, buy a kayak, plan a weekend wild camping, climb a tree, buy a wetsuit and swim in the ocean, learn to surf.
And remember:
- Be kind.
- Do good.
- Have less.
- Give more.
